Recently launched ZoomlaDesign websites:

This website is an online ecommerce store that features different products that are available for purchase. A shopping cart that shows multiple images of a product was set up. An online gallery makes it easy for the potential customer to see the different varieties that are featured in the store and a contact form makes it easy to contact the store owner.

The business owner wanted to update an older website. In the change, the website received a design and functionality overhaul. In the week after launching the new site, he noticed an immediate, positive effect on his business.

The online magazine-style website features posts that feed a snippet of the latest posts to the first page. ( This is opposed to having a static or fixed home page.) The website is integrated with the social networks of Twitter and Facebook to help with its promotion. It’s a fun, creative outlet for the author that highlights passive solar design and various content creation.
The clients had an older site that they wanted to optimize and refresh. In the redesigned site, all pages can be accessed by the drop down menu, or along the side of the page. The previous site had hidden links, or links that could only be accessed by through certain pages. A custom google map that shows China travel destinations was created and embedded. A request brochure form was also integrated with google forms. In that way, all the information entered immediately is entered into a spreadsheet.
The site was moved to a new server. Before doing so, we looked at the previous server’s site statistics to compare before and after. Within two weeks, they had 2 to 3 times more traffic. The site was optimized so that each page has a custom keyword title, meta keywords, and all of the pictures have titles and alt text. A Wwitter and Facebook account were created and the client continues to use these social networks to promote and bring traffic to the website. Analytics and an “addthis” button were added.
The clients wanted to refresh and reorganize their previous website as well as integrate potential social networking. The site is personalized to their specific orchard and winery activities. A Facebook fan page and Twitter account were created and integrated into the sidebar of the website. The website also has a rss feed under Recent News that allows people to subscribe to new posts and stay updated on new activities (such as asparagus or cherry picking, according to the season). A GoogleMap was embedded to allow the user to get specific directions to find their location.
It’s our goal that every quarter, ZoomlaDesign helps to sponsor a nonprofit website. In the redesign, the Children’s Museum wanted to keep the same logo, but make it easier to get basic information, like location, cost and upcoming events, while also making it easier to get volunteers to sign up. If you’re in the Montrose, CO area and would like to contribute by volunteering (even for one class) sign up to get more information on the volunteer page. They are waiting for release form type information to start up a marketplace where locals can trade, sell or give away children’s goods.
A basic, good looking website that gives customers basic business information. This is a one column website with the navigation along the top, under the picture taken in the retail store. Information is easily accessible from any page.
This website was created for a company that provides many different services. They previously had an older website that they wanted to update and add functionality to. In addition, the old site had used iframes for the body of the website, so search engines could not access the information. A new website was created and the information was rearranged using drop-down menus so the viewer can easily reach any other section of the site without needing to backtrack. Pictures were added to all the pages, a portfolio, contact form, GoogleMap, and favicon were also embedded. (A favicon is the image that shows in the address bar and helps the website viewer to keep track of open tabs and windows.) The text of the site was edited so that statements are in the affirmative. A YouTube video was also created (shot with a Flip Ultra) and embedded on the furniture page.
This is a website that was created to help promote a new iPhone application that the client is developing. It also gives local information about their process serving company based in Colorado. The website had a bit of Photoshop work, embeds like GoogleMap, AddThis, analytics and a favicon was created. The website is currently giving information, but will soon also be a portal to the web application.
The client wanted a website that would allow him to access and control information on certain pages. Because he frequently features new specials, he also wanted a website that allowed people to not only see new culinary delights but would also allow people to subscribe to his new specials. This functionality has been enabled in the “Specials” page. The website also features a photo gallery that shows people his location and food. A map has been embedded so that people will be able to easily get customized directions to the restaurant.
The Stop It and Flow website was created for a nonprofit organization project. It has a clean interface that features rounded corners on the photos. It is informational and text-based website, while having simple and easy navigation. The site also has a contact form that makes it easy for people to fill in information and send it.
This website was created for a documentary project. This is one of the first websites that I did, mainly out of necessity. It is an older table-based site that was created with GoLive. (It really needs an update, but I learned the basics of html by doing this site.) The film went on a nationwide tour, and a google map that shows the tour route as well as reviews that are embedded in the website. The website also has paypal functionality so people can purchase the DVD directly from the website. It also has numerous downloadable pdf documents, video embeds and a blog section. It also links to a Facebook group and has its own YouTube channel. An ‘add this’ button also makes it easier for people to send the website to others.
